Hi everyone!

Welcome to The Blonde Twentysomething.

Me, Stephani, the blonde twentysomething in question.

A lot of people start blogs now to "get ahead of the curve" and "share something". But truly, I just felt like writing. There's something so liberating about sharing thoughts, feelings, and musings about your life (and everyone else's) on a page (or the internet where there are no borders and everyone can read it, I guess), and at 27, I felt like that was something I wanted to do. I've always been a writer and started my professional career off by writing for magazines in Chicago, and so I felt this was a natural step for me. Which brings me to: hi, my name is Stephani, and I'm a blonde twentysomething who doesn't have it all figured out, but is trying her hardest to get there. 

Born and raised outside of Chicago, I got my degree in both Advertising and Public Relations from Loyola University Chicago and worked for one of the top PR and Marketing firms in the United States. I now dabble in public relations, advertising, real estate; and also am a model and singer/songwriter with a label in Los Angeles (and currently working on my first EP). Fun facts about me include that I am allergic to caffeine (and tell this to everyone I meet); can whistle through my nose, and am six-feet-tall. Didn't mean to hit you with all of that on the first post, but now you've gotten the whole picture. Oh, I also am a proud cat and dog mom (I do hate when people call themselves that but whatever, I am).

I truly hope that every time you read a blog post you felt like you left with something, felt something; or just maybe didn't feel like you read something that burned a hole in your brain and killed ten minutes you'll never get back. I've always adored writing, and felt it was something I could go to when all else had failed me in life. Maybe that's why I'm here now. My goal is for The Blonde Twentysomething to be a place where everyone comes to and read about life, love, fashion, beauty, and everything in between for fun. There's no modus operandi to what I plan on writing about, I just like to write. And I hope you like to listen.
